If you have an electric vehicle (EV), you've probably heard of ChargeSini. It's one of the companies providing EV charging stations in Malaysia. Yesterday, Proton subsidiary PRO-NET announced a partnership with ChargeSini to expand its EV charging network.

According to the announcement, ChargeSini's network will integrated into the Hello smart app. This expands the app's public EV charging station coverage from 70% to more than 75% nationwide. For your info, ChargeSini EV stations are typically found at hotels, supermarkets, and shopping malls.

ChargeSini's integration makes it the fourth local Charge Point Operator (CPO) to join the app. The other three are Gentari, chargeEV, and Jomcharge. Mind you, the integration of ChargeSini isn't immediate. However, the app update will only be completed in Q3 2024. Once updated, Malaysians can easily locate charging stations using the app or the In-car Navigation System (DHU). They can also make payments directly through the app.

With the integration, you only need the Hello smart app instead of four separate ones to locate charging stations. Do you use this app, and how do you think it can improve further? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates like this.
