Based on a statement by ithome.com, it seems that Xiaomi has recently given a response stating that China variants of Xiaomi smartphones will not allow users to install GMS onto their devices. The reason for not allowing the service to be installed is largely due to a compliance issue most likely because of trade disagreements with the United States of America.
From what our source mentioned, it seems that the smartphones affected this includes the Redmi K30 Extreme, Redmi 10X 5G, and possibly more. With that being said, there is currently no information whether the future Xiaomi smartphones outside of China will not allow GMS to be installed onto their devices for now.
