Tech giant Alibaba has announced that it will roll out its own artificial intelligence (AI) product to rival ChatGPT. Called Tongyi Qianwen, the chatbot will be integrated across the company’s businesses.
As reported by the BBC, the move was announced by Alibaba’s cloud computing unit. Tongyi Qianwen roughly translates to “seeking an answer by asking a thousand questions” and will be yet another generative AI chatbot in the market.
Impressively, the AI chatbot is capable of functioning in English and Chinese. It will initially be available within Alibaba’s workplace messaging app, DingTalk.
