While the Google Chrome browser has its fair share of problems, it remains the most widely used Internet browser in the world at the moment. To keep that position, Google needs to continue improving the software and is doing so with the latest Chrome version 87.
According to Google, Chrome 87 is the biggest Chrome update in years. It introduces several new features, performance optimisation, and security enhancement. One of the changes includes a new tab prioritisation feature, which can reduce the CPU usage by 5 times and extend battery life by 1.25 times. Additionally, Chrome boot-up speed is now 25% faster and will load pages 7% faster, all while using less RAM and battery.

When it comes to new features, the notable ones are Tab Search and Chrome Action. If you enable Tab Search, you'll be able to use a new search bar to hunt for tabs, which is useful if you tend to open a lot of them without closing. As for Chrome Action, it's a feature that allows you to execute certain actions easily. For example, you can type "delete cache" into the search bar and it'll take you straight to the relevant setting in the menu.
So, what do you think about the new Chrome version? Do you find it better now, or would you prefer using a different browser? Share your thoughts in the comment section and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news like this.
