Chuwi HiPad XPro release: Unisoc T616 SoC and 7000mAh battery at ~RM632

Chuwi has released its latest tablet in the affordable market segment, the Chuwi HiPad XPro. Featuring a 10.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a standard 60Hz refresh rate, the panel has a 16:10 aspect ratio and a max brightness of 360 nits. 

According to Chuwi's official website, the tablet is powered by the Unisoc T616 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 127GB of storage. You can also expand the storage by up to 1TB using the microSD card slot.

The HiPad XPro seems to be geared toward media consumption as it is equipped with a quad-speaker setup and supports Widevine L1 certification for streaming Netflix, Hulu and other streaming services in the highest quality. Battery-wise, it is equipped with a 7000mAh cell and charges over USB-C. 

The tablet sports a 13MP camera at its rear with autofocus and an 8MP selfie camera at its front. Other notable specs include LTE support, dual SIM, Android 12 OS, a weight of 500g, 7.3mm thickness and dual mic.

The HiPad XPro is priced at USD149 or ~RM632 with shipping expected to commence by early February 2023. However, as of the time of writing, the tablet is not officially available in Malaysia and Chuwi has yet to reveal plans for expansion to our country.
