Chuwi UBook X release: Intel Celeron CPU, lightweight body, and built-in kickstand for ~RM1692

Have you ever heard of Chuwi? It's not a widely known brand, but they do have some interesting laptops and tablets. Recently, the brand launched the UBook X tablet, which comes with a functional design, decent performance, and a relatively reasonable price tag.

Now available on the official Chuwi website, the UBook X is a 2-in-1 tablet that comes with a U-shaped bracket built into the device. This functions as a kickstand and turns it into a laptop by attaching the optional keyboard. The tablet is also very lightweight at 780g, but still packs a USB Type-C port, USB Type-A port, Micro-HD port, Micro-SD slot, and an audio jack.

In terms of internal hardware, the UBook X should provide do well enough in most daily tasks thanks to its Intel Celeron N4100 CPU and 8GB of RAM. Besides that, it sports a 12-inch IPS display that outputs a max resolution of 2160x1440 and follows the 3:2 aspect ratio, which is more suitable for productivity apps. Additionally, the tablet has a 38Wh that can deliver up to 9 hours of battery life so you'll have more than enough to get you through the day.

At USD 399 (~RM1692), the Chuwi UBook X could be a great option for basic office work, especially if you want something portable and affordable. But what do you think about it?
