As some of you already know, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ pre-order has started yesterday and our local telcos were quick to announce their pre-order plans for the flagships as well. If you're having trouble on which package to get, we got it covered for you and here is the comparison pre-order plans between Celcom, Digi, Maxis and U Mobile.

Celcom

Celcom Postpaid plan

First and foremost, Celcom is offering the Galaxy S9 and S9+ in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB with all three colours (Lilac Purple, Midnight Black and Coral Blue). However, do keep in mind that you can't go beyond 64GB if you only want the Galaxy S9 since that's the original plan after all, as well as the Galaxy S9+ 256GB model is only available in Midnight Black. Of course, you also get a free Harman Kardon Oynx Mini speaker upon purchasing, which starts from RM1788 for FIRST Platinum Plus, with a subscription fee for RM188/month. The highest one is getting the Galaxy S9+ 256GB model at RM3398 with a subscription fee for RM98/month for FIRST Gold Plus.

Celcom Easyphone plan

If you're on a tight budget, Celcom Easyphone is also on board with the flagship pre-order and you get it as low as RM95/month (FIRST Platinum Plus) without having to pay the monthly subscription fee. But like all telco contracts, you will be bound to 24 months once you sign up for it.

As usual, Celcom postpaid plan offers you a lot of free Internet data, as it can go up to 100GB (weekday and weekend combined), unlimited calls to all networks and SMS, unlimited Whatsapp and WeChat, as well as Video and Music Walla. To find out more about the plans, check out their pre-order page here and their Easyphone details here.

Digi

Next, you will also receive a free speaker upon signing up for either one of the three Digi postpaid plans which are Digi 80 with GBoost, Digi 110 and Digi 110 with GBoost. If you've never heard of GBoost, it's basically a new add-on feature that allows you to combine your weekday and weekend Internet data at the cost of just RM10. And although Digi does have a more affordable option than Celcom, which is paying RM90/month from Digi 80 with GBoost, the starting price of the Galaxy S9 is RM2269 and for some reason, the only colour available for that model is Midnight Black. For the Galaxy S9+, it starts from RM2859 in all three colours but only with the 128GB model.

Digi postpaid plans also offer unlimited calls to all networks, GBoost (only the postpaid plans with that name), Free Roaming and IDD (only Digi 110) and up to 60GB Internet data. You can head over to their official pre-order page here to find out more.

Maxis

Similarly to Digi, Maxis also only have the 64GB and 128GB model for the new Samsung flagships, but at least they have all three colours available (and the free speaker). Is it available on Maxis Zerolution program? Yes, it is! So there's no cash upfront payment for that program and you will have to pay RM97/month for 24 months based on the contract. If you're still in the middle of your contract and want to switch your current phone, you gotta pay up RM44/month for the upgrade fee.
