The Samsung Galaxy S20 series has officially launched in Malaysia today. Starting from RM3599, you can get either the Galaxy S20, S20+ or S20 Ultra in every Samsung Concept Store, authorized retailers and partners across the nation. However, if you're looking for an instalment plan, we got you covered. In this latest comparison plan between the Maxis, Celcom, Digi, U Mobile and YES 4G, read on below to see which package plan is suitable for you!
Maxis - 2 Phones 1 Price!
2 Phones 1 Price? Yes, it's real and for the first time; Maxis is offering this bundle promo for the Galaxy S20 and S20+ (sorry, not the S20 Ultra). By signing up for the plan, you will have to subscribe to a MaxisONE plan (starting from 158) as the principal line then add a new share line with MaxisONE Share 48. This plan can go as low as RM189/month and it's perfect for those who want the phone with their friend or family member.
Maxis' Zerolution is also part of the launch and all three S20 phones are available. You can get one from RM129/month with no upfront payment, 0 credit card, 0% interest rate, 3-month phone protection for free and a yearly phone upgrade. For more information, just head over here to check it out.
Celcom - Customize your plan with Mega Postpaid + wireless charger gift
Celcom's newest Mega Postpaid plan was just announced last month so obviously, the Galaxy S20 series is part of this plan. What makes this plan attractive is that the device price can go as low as RM99/month with the EasyPhone Own, plus the fact that you can customize your plan with either unlimited internet or "lightning" mobile internet speed up to 100GB Internet data, free-roaming and even trade-in unused Internet quota for cashback in Boost eWallet! Also, a free wireless charger worth RM239 is included.
Alternatively, you can also opt for Device Bundle from RM1848 with the Lightning XL package. The total monthly commitment will be RM188 but if you want it to be more affordable, you can get less than double at RM98 with Lightning M and the device will be RM2548 (hey, it's the law of equivalent exchange). Digi - Go ALL-IN from RM216/month (including phone + plan payment)
The Digi PhoneFreedom 365 returns and this is perfect for those who want to go ALL-IN with their monthly phone + plan payment in one go. The lowest one we found is RM216 from Digi Postpaid 80 (w/ GBoost), as you will be paying RM126/month (device) + RM80 (plan) + RM10 (GBoost). However, if you want the lowest device price then it's RM83/month but the ALL-IN price will hike up a bit.
Interestingly, the Galaxy S20 Ultra is nowhere to be seen on the website so there's that. To choose which ALL-IN plan is best suited for you, head over to the yellow telco's site here to see them all.
U Mobile - Get a Galaxy S20 from RM2009 only + wireless charger gift
Like Celcom, U Mobile is also giving away a complimentary Wireless Charger Pad if you purchase an S20, S20+ or S20 Ultra. That said, the company is offering Unlimited HERO Postpaid Plan and UPackage so depending on which one you're taking, getting the Galaxy S20 can go as low as RM2009 or RM109/month.
The two Unlimited HERO Postpaid P99 and P139 have no upfront payment. For UPackage, there is 0% interest-free over 24 months, unlimited data, unlimited call, ROAM ONZ and mobile hotspot up to 50GB. It's pretty straight forward so have a look over here.
YES 4G - RM1200 off on the S20 Ultra
Finally, YES 4G is joining the fray but for some reason, their website is not showing any plans nor options for the latest Galaxy S20 series. The only information we got from their Facebook page is that you can get the S20 Ultra with up to RM1200 off or go as low as RM79/month (probably for the S20). Also, you will be signing up for YES Enjoy Konfem Unlimited Talk Postpaid for this.
