Computex 2026: MSI reveals the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+, a next-gen mobile console with Intel Arc graphics

MSI has officially unveiled the Claw 8 EX AI+ at COMPUTEX 2026, introducing what the company says is the world's first gaming handheld powered by Intel Arc G3 Extreme processors. That said, what should you know about it?

 

The latest tech, in the palm of your hands

For your information, the console is designed for portable AAA gaming. The new handheld combines Intel's latest Xe graphics architecture with XeSS 3 and Multi-Frame Generation (MFG) technologies to deliver smoother gameplay and improved visual performance.

Additionally, the Claw 8 EX AI+ features an 8-inch 120Hz VRR display for fluid visuals, while upgraded Hall-effect triggers and analogue sticks offer greater durability and precision. MSI has also redesigned the chassis with improved ergonomic grips for more comfortable gaming sessions.

Moreover, the highlights include a new high-end linear motor for enhanced haptic feedback, Xbox Mode support for quick game access, and a distinctive Void Purple finish. The MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ is expected to launch in Malaysia this July.
