Based on a statement by Androidheadlines.com, a leaked patent seems that hint that HP could be working on a foldable smartphone which comes with a similar folding mechanism to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. While not much is known in regards to whether this smartphone will actually be available in the future, our source did mentioned that the patent was approved on 13 August 2020.
With that said, we could most likely see this kind of product released somewhere in 2021 or beyond. However, there were some speculations saying that the device that will utilize this patent might not be a smartphone due to the fact that HP is a large company that manufactures different products.
