The ASUS ZenFone 5Z has officially gone on sale in Europe for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage version at a limited time discounted price of 449.99 euros (~RM2114. 63). Considering that at the time of launch the 4GB RAM version was going for 479 euros, this is an awesome deal both in terms of price as well as value.
However, Malaysia prices are generally lower than European prices, usually about RM200 or so off. This means that when the ZenFone 5Z does come to Malaysia (rumoured to be in July or August) it could go for RM1899 to RM1999. While the price of RM2114 already makes it the most affordable Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 equipped device in the market, having the ZenFone 5Z below RM2K certainly makes it more attractive.
If 6GB RAM and 64GB storage isn't enough for you, an 8GB RAM with 256GB storage is expected for 599.99 euros which with the discount makes it 549.99 euros (~RM2584), which if it does come to Malaysia could go for as little as RM2299 to RM 2399. Other tech specs are expected to stay the same with the 6.2-inch FHD+ display and 12MP dual pixel + 8MP wide angle dual rear cameras, which isn't a bad thing at all, but AI features should be a lot faster and smoother than the ASUS ZenFone 5 ZE620KL.
