Based on a statement by androidheadlines.com, there could be a possibility that Samsung might consider ditching Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipsets in favour of their own Exynos 1000 chipset (in the US market too). Not only that, but another reason why Samsung might be keen on switching to Exynos is that next year’s Snapdragon 875 chipset might be considered overkill for the Galaxy S21 series devices.
However, it is best to note that as soon as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset is unveiled, the Snapdragon 865 might see its price reduced by quite a significant margin. With all that said, do take some of the information mentioned with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Samsung has yet to provide an official statement on the leaks.
I can confirm that Samsung won't use Snapdragon 865 again for their S21, instead I heard that Samsung could use Exynos 1000 for all S21 varrient (US, China included) https://t.co/XN99kJMRVe
