OnLeaks recently tweeted on his Twitter account, hinting at the possibility of Samsung’s Galaxy A90 being renamed to the Galaxy R series. In addition to that, one of the smartphones in the series will be Samsung’s very first mid-range device to feature 5G-connectivity.

Based on an article by tech.sina.com, the Samsung Galaxy A90 will not come with a dedicated selfie camera. In fact, the device flips the rear camera towards the front in order to take a selfie similar to how the ASUS ZenFone 6 utilizes its flip-up camera mechanism. In terms of the camera sensors, we can expect a 32MP main sensor + 8MP super wide-angle sensor + depth sensor which are mounted on the flip mechanism.

As for the rest of the tech specs, the smartphone is expected to come with a 6.73-inch display along with 3610mAh non-removable battery with 25W fast charging. That being said, do take every bit of information with a grain salt, as there was no official statement from Samsung regarding the subject. In addition to that, there was also no news about the pricing as well as Malaysia release dates.
