For your information, this collaboration marks the first time a learning platform has been directly integrated into ChatGPT, making world-class educational content more accessible to users around the world, including Malaysia.
Starting today, Malaysians can watch course videos and get information from Coursera directly in ChatGPT without having to leave the app.
Additionally, you can simply ask ChatGPT to open the Coursera app by name, or it will automatically suggest it when the conversation topic is related to an available course.
In Malaysia, interest in Generative AI (GenAI) courses increased by 183 per cent compared to the previous year. Among the most popular courses are Google AI Essentials, Generative AI for Everyone by DeepLearning.AI and Introduction to Artificial Intelligence by IBM.
The Coursera app is now accessible to all ChatGPT users in Malaysia for the Free, Go, Plus and Pro plans, with initial content provided in English.
