It seems that more gaming publishers are hopping on the bandwagon of remastering or remaking their old games. Resident Evil 3 and Final Fantasy VII Remake were just recently released, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is coming soon at the end of April, and Command and Conquer Remastered is set to release in June. In this latest news, Crytek have officially announced a Crysis Remastered is in the works.

Prior to the announcement, there were a few teasers here and there on their Twitter account. The Crysis Remastered website was even online at one point then got taken down quickly, but what comes online stays online. Anyway, the official Crysis Twitter account also confirmed that the remastered will be available on the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and even the Nintendo Switch, which is weird because we aren't sure if the console can even support such intense graphics that game was known for.

For those who are too young to remember (or know), Crysis was a popular first-person shooter game created by Crytek. Players get to play a soldier wearing "nanosuits" that allows them to kick ass with enhanced strength, speed, defence and cloaking abilities. Thanks to the first game's popularity, a spinoff and trilogy series followed suit which we last saw in 2013. Also, it was one of the games used for testing PC graphics.

There is little information about the remastered game's debut, but you can head on to the official website here and subscribe for more information. Are you excited about Crysis Remastered? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned for more gaming news at TechNave.com.
