A new company called Craft has announced their Craft Camera modular camera system that features swappable mounts which includes micro fourthirds (used by Olympus and Panasonic) as well as adaptors for Canon EF lenses for video shots that requires specific lenses. Check out the video below:
It also comes with other modular parts, including extra power, storage space, connectivity, control link, and LCD panel, among others. It can be configured to be a studio camera, as well as a full cinematography device by just adding or subtracting parts as needed. The full tech specs and other details are expected to be announced in a few months’ time.
