The Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL) has announced that road users can no longer use the JomParking app to pay for parking within its jurisdiction. This is because the city council has ended the collaboration with the app, effective 1 January 2025.

Taking to its official Facebook page, DBKL said that the JomParking app services in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur have ended. Previously, JomParking was one of the app operators for roadside parking spots in the city.

However, DBKL assured that JomParking users can still utilise their credits for roadside parking locations under the jurisdiction of local councils or local authorities that still support the app. As of the time of writing, the apps you can use to pay for roadside parking under DBKL’s jurisdiction are EZ KL Smart Park, Flexi Parking, Touch ’n Go eWallet, Boost, Mcash and Ekupon.
