DENZA Malaysia has officially launched the new DENZA B8, marking the brand’s first DMO Super Hybrid model introduction in Malaysia. Positioned as a luxury off-road SUV with electrified performance and premium comfort, the DENZA B8 arrives in two variants priced at RM458,800 for the Dynamic model and RM518,800 for the Premium version.
The DMO Super Hybrid Platform
Introducing hybrid-based luxury mobility solutions tailored for customers seeking long-distance versatility alongside electrified driving experiences, the DENZA B8 is the brand’s new DMO Super Hybrid Platform, combining a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with dual electric motors and BYD’s Blade Battery technology. The intelligent four-wheel drive system produces a combined output of 450kW and 760Nm of torque, delivering strong acceleration and improved traction across both city and off-road environments.
Power comes from a 36.8kWh Blade Battery capable of delivering up to 115km of pure EV driving range based on the NEDC cycle. Together with a 91-litre fuel tank, DENZA claims the B8 can achieve a total driving range of up to 1,040km. The system automatically switches between Pure EV, HEV Series, and Parallel hybrid modes depending on driving conditions, aiming to optimise both efficiency and performance seamlessly.
Fast Charging and V2L Support Included
Charging support includes up to 120kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to recharge from 30% to 80% in just 16 minutes. The SUV also supports up to 11kW AC charging for home and destination charging setups. The DENZA B8 additionally supports a 6.6kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function, allowing owners to power external devices directly from the vehicle.
DiSUS-P Suspension System Focuses on Comfort and Off-Road Capability
One of the major highlights of the DENZA B8 is its DiSUS-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control System suspension. The system allows ride height adjustments of up to 140mm, improving both highway comfort and off-road adaptability. DENZA says the SUV is capable of handling water wading depths of up to 890mm while also improving approach and departure angles for more challenging terrain conditions.
Riding on 20-inch wheels wrapped in 275/55R20 tyres, the B8 combines rugged capability with a planted premium SUV stance. Beyond off-road use, the DiSUS-P system is also designed to improve ride composure across uneven roads and long-distance highway driving, helping maintain a smoother, luxury-oriented driving experience.
6-Seater and 7-Seater Configurations
Inside, the SUV adopts what DENZA describes as a “Starship Mecha-inspired” exterior design language featuring sculpted body lines, Starship Wing LED daytime running lights, and Energy Thruster-inspired taillights. Inside the cabin, buyers can choose between two seating layouts.
The DENZA B8 Premium features a six-seater configuration with second-row captain seats complete with integrated ottomans, ventilation, and massage functions. Meanwhile, the DENZA B8 Dynamic offers a seven-seater setup with an electrically reclining second-row bench seat and ventilation features.
Both versions support fully electric folding and adjustment for second and third-row seats, allowing for flexible cargo and passenger configurations. Boot capacity ranges between 147 litres and 920 litres, depending on seating arrangement and configuration.
DENZA is also heavily emphasising the in-cabin luxury experience with premium Nappa leather upholstery and a standard Devialet 18-speaker sound system across both variants. The audio system aims to create a more immersive premium atmosphere, particularly during long journeys.
Comprehensive Warranty and Ownership Package Included
Customers can choose from five exterior colours, including Alpine White, Dawn Gold, Eclipse Black, Emerald Green, and Nebula Silver. Interior themes are available in either Onyx Black or Jasper Brown. Additionally, the DENZA B8 comes with an extensive ownership package, including:
- 6-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty
- 6-year complimentary scheduled maintenance service worth RM10,000
- 8-year or 160,000km high voltage battery warranty
- 8-year or 160,000km drive unit warranty
- Complimentary V2L adapter worth RM700
The DENZA B8 will be publicly showcased from 22 to 24 May 2026 across multiple locations, including Bangsar Shopping Centre, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, DENZA Balakong, DENZA Glenmarie, DENZA KLCC, and DENZA Penang.
