With the advent of flying drones, aerial cinematography has become much easier for the movie industry. DJI is well-known in the drone business, and has recently launched a new model to its professional Inspire series - the DJI Inspire 3.

The DJI Inspire 3 is a flying drone that caters to professional cinematographers and film-makers. It promises improvements in many areas, with the most notable being the 8K sensor. Specifically, a full-frame Zenmuse X9-8K Air Gimbal Camera sensor. It can record in 8K 25FPS via CinemaDNG, as well as 8K 75FPS and 4K 120FPS in Apple ProRes RAW (no crop). The sensor also supports dual native ISO, has 14+ stops, a f/1.8 aperture, and more.

This capable sensor is accompanied by advanced features like the DJI Cinema Color System for accurate colours and skin tones, an updated FPV camera for drone operators, new Waypoint Pro options and more. Moreover, the drone is paired with a DJI RC Plus controller that sports a 7-inch screen, which has 1200nits brightness and supports external batteries (hot-swappable).

At USD 16499 (~RM72629), this isn't a product for the average Joe. But if you're a pro in the film-making industry, this could be the next upgrade you're looking for. What do you think? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more news about cool devices like this.
