If there's one thing that DJI is known more, that'd be the drones and also reliable mobile phone gimbal holders. If you thought the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 was already good enough, they just recently introduced the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 and it's super compact and foldable! Here's what we know so far about the gimbal

Looking at the promo video that DJI just released, the new Osmo Mobile 3 is now made of plastic which is a welcome addition. It now weighs 405g and this makes it a lot lighter than the predecessor which was 485g. Since it's able to fold itself, you put this into your bag or even your pocket easily. On top of that, it retains the usual joystick control, portrait and landscape orientation switcher and a zoom button. The charging port has been relocated to the side of the controller and it's a type-C.

In terms of features, the Osmo Mobile 3 has a new gesture control feature that allows the user to automatically take photo and videos without anyone's help. This feature is very compatible with Active Track 3.0 version looks very much improved which can assist sports mode seamlessly, as well as even taking panorama shots. Also, in case you're wondering about the battery life, the 2450mAh battery can last up to 15 hours from a single charge. DJI says that it takes 2.5 hours to fully charge.

The DJI Osmo Mobile is already selling and there are two variants for it -one as the gimbal itself for $119 (~RM498) and the other as a gimbal with a casing and tripod legs for $139 (~RM581). DJI Malaysia has not officially imported this bad boy to the market yet, so stay tuned for the news at TechNave.com.
