Just weeks after dropping a highly capable standard model with a large sensor, DJI has released the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P in China with a dual-camera system. Pre-order prices for the standard kit price start at 3799 yuan (~RM2281) and a more comprehensive Vlog Kit is also available at 4299 yuan (~RM2582).  No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet though.

Dual-camera system = Double the Creative Flexibility?

The main feature for the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P is obviously the dual-lens setup on the 3-axis mechanical gimbal. The primary camera relies on a 1-inch wide-angle sensor equipped with LOFIC technology to handle tricky lighting conditions, resulting in up to 17 stops of dynamic range.

Right beside it is a new 60mm mid-telephoto lens for true 3x optical zoom, giving shooters a cleaner option for portraits and tight compositions without the typical digital degradation. DJI has also stepped up its tracking software to Intelligent Follow 8.0, allowing the device to track multiple people simultaneously while adjusting the zoom dynamically up to 12x total range.
