Earlier today, Google has announced that “Dark Mode” is officially supported by the Google Play app, which can be enabled by any smartphone that’s running the Android operating system. However, do note that the feature will be rolled out slowly and it will not be available on every Android smartphone at the same time.
In order to activate the dark theme, head over to your Google Play app, tap on the top left and select Settings. Scroll down, tap on Themes and select Dark in the new window which will cause the Play store to switch over to Dark Mode.
