2017 is a new year, and many students are gearing to start their school year. Universities and school alike – these days kids are more and more into technology even during classes. Having a good device to ensure that they have the information they need at the tip of their finger is important – hence why Dell has announced new laptops design with this segment in mind – the new Dell Latitude 11, Latitude 13 and Chromebook, powered by Intel chips.

The new laptop is designed to be slimmer and more compact that the predecessor model. They're also built to withstand falls and spills – which is good for butter fingers. The Windows version will be powered by the seventh-generation Intel Pentium and Celeron chips (for the Latitude 11) and the newer Core i5 for the Latitude 13. The Chromebook variants meanwhile are stuck with sixth-gen Celerons, with the Chromebook 13 will have a Core i3 option.

If you are looking to get one, the models will be coming sometime in February, with prices starting from USD 349 (~RM 1547). No confirmation yet if the models will be heading to Malaysia, so stay tuned to TechNave for more information.
