Dell launches world's first "wireless charging" laptop for ~RM5154

A wireless charging laptop? Well, actually it’s not really one but rather it uses a 2-in-1 dock charger to the wireless-compatible keyboard (#misleadingmarketing). But still, not using a charging cable is a nice welcome and the charging dock + wireless charging keyboard accessory cost $380 (~RM1632) and $200 (~RM860) respectively, whereas the laptop is $1200 (~RM5154).

The laptop is from Dell and it's called the Latitude 7285 featuring a core-i5-7Y54, 8GB RAM, 128GB of internal storage, a 12-inch display and more. It’s also said that the charger won’t work on a metal surface, so the user would need to use a non-metal stand to raise the base at least 2-inches. Kind of weird for a wireless charger to be this “cost effective” (#sarcasm) to work.
