If you recall, a leak of the Sony WF-1000XM4 first appeared in February 2021. It has been two years since the previous model, so many would be interested to see what has changed. Recently, a new leak that appeared reveals its full design.

According to The Walkman Blog (via Android Headlines), the Sony WF-1000XM4 is rather different from its predecessor. That's already apparent from the first leak, which showed that the earbuds have a smaller main housing. It also seems to have a more plastic matte finish, compared to the glossy metallic look from before.

From the leaked images, you can see that the mics have been moved around due to the smaller size. There's also a cylindrical bronze/gold piece on the outside, which could be a microphone or just part of the design. In terms of specs, the charging case has an output of 5V 140mA, so it should charge faster than the WF-1000XM3.

Another interesting bit of speculation is that the new model could launch as early as June 2021. Of course, we can't confirm if that's true, so you'll have to wait for an update on that. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for more interesting tech news!
