OnePlus Open, the company’s first-ever foldable smartphone is making waves worldwide thanks to its impressive specs, though, it does have some feature omissions such as no wireless charging or official stylus support. It may change for the latter though, as a OnePlus Open user found that the foldable does indeed support a specific stylus.

Sharing on the r/OnePlus subreddit on Reddit, u/Reashed341 shared a video of his OnePlus Open perfectly supporting the inputs by the OPPO Pen. He clarified that he bought the stylus for his OPPO Find N2 last year.

It is also worth noting that the stylus input from the OPPO Pen works on both the main folding screen and the outer screen. This does make sense as OPPO and OnePlus are sister companies, with the OnePlus Open essentially a rebranded OPPO Find N3.

Hence, while there’s no official stylus support announced for the foldable, OnePlus may introduce a rebranded OPPO Pen under the company’s name or just expand support for the accessory from its sister company soon. Until then, do stay tuned to TechNave for the latest developments on this and for more trending tech news.
