This coming week, Huawei is hosting a launch event to showcase some new products. The company will unveil more than one smartphone, including the Huawei Mate X3 and Huawei P60 series. As expected, some details are appearing ahead of the launch.

According to Ross Young, the Huawei Mate X3 will come with a 7.85-inch LTPO foldable display, which is slightly smaller than the Huawei Mate X2's 8-inch. However, the cover display will have the same 6.45-inch display. This suggests that the size for the new model could be smaller, with thinner bezels for the cover display to maintain the size. The Mate X3 will also be the first Huawei foldable device to use Ultra Thin Glass (UTG).

Besides the Mate X3, there is also some news about the Huawei P60 series. In a Weibo post, Huawei revealed what seems to be the Huawei P60 Pro with a large main camera (50MP Sony IMX888) in the middle. The one above it is an ultra-wide camera (Sony IMX858), while the one at the bottom is a periscope camera (Omnivision OV64B) with 3.5x optical zoom. In addition, the Huawei P60 Pro will also feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 4G chipset and a 6.6-inch 2K display.
