Video games tend to take time to develop but never have we seen a mobile game taking so long to be released. Today, Blizzard Entertainment has finally announced the release date of Diablo Immortal for the mobile and PC platforms.

Yes, you read that right. Not only is Diablo Immortal coming to the Apple App and Google Play Store, but as well on PC on 2 June 2022. This is quite groundbreaking because both platforms will support cross-play and cross-progression and the game will be free-to-play on the PC. With the exception of Genshin Impact, no other mobile games have this feature.

Important note: Diablo Immortal will become available for some Asia-Pacific regions in the weeks following launch

The Diablo Immortal on PC will have an open beta period as well as support a gaming controller (mobile too). The team also mentioned that you can use the WASD keys to move around on the PC which is a first for a Diablo game. But if you prefer old school, the mouse and keyboard are also accessible.

There is no word for the PC open beta yet but we assume it could be launched on the same 2 June 2022 date. To read more about the FAQs and PC features, you can visit the respective hyperlinks given.
