Well, it looks like this coming Valentine’s Day is pretty lively now, ain’t it? We have just gotten news that you can now buy the Nokia 6 in Malaysia! Well, they are not official sets, but are imported by local smart gadgets distributor, Satu Gadget. Pre-orders are now opened with expected delivery happening on 14th February 2017. The price to pay? RM1899.
Nokia 6 is Nokia’s first Android smartphone since their announcement of making a comeback. With Nokia’s large following, it’s no surprise that it is one of the most anticipated devices that made the limelight recently. Here’s a quick re-cap on Nokia 6’s specs:
- 5.5-inch FullHD (1080p) IPS LCD
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor
- 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage
- microSD slot (up to 256 GB)
- 16MP f/2.0 main camera, PDAF, 1.0µm pixel size, dual tone flash
- 8MP f/2.0 front camera, 1.12µm pixel size, 84° wide angle lens
- Front mounted fingerprint sensor
- Stereo Speakers with Dolby Atmos®
- 3000 mAh battery
- Android 7.0 Nougat
Without a doubt, the Nokia 6 is a mid-range device. Original priced at 1699 yuan (around RM1099) and sold out each time it is re-stocked, RM1899 is indeed a slightly higher price to pay to get your hands on one, but, hey, if you want to get your hands on a Nokia 6 now, I guess that’s the price to pay for exclusivity. Official local availability of the Nokia 6 is rumoured to happen later in this year, which we guess would be some time in Q217.
Pre-orders had started, with delivery expected on 14 February 2017. Pre-order your Nokia 6 on Satu Gadget’s official website here. If you can’t wait to get your hands on one, now is the right time.
