For Digi customers (or new potential ones), there is a new smartphone that can be purchased through the telco – the recently announced Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and A7 (2017). The new mid-tier smartphones offers a lot of performance for its looks and price.
As a recap, the Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 and A7 2017 share similar specs, including 3GB of RAM , a 1.9GHz octa-core processor, 32GB on-board storage with microSD slot 16-megapixel rear and front camera, IP68 certification, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The different features includes screen (5.2 inch for the former and 5.7 inch for the latter) and battery capacity (3000/3600 mAh respectively).
Digi is offering both phones as part of their postpaid smartphone offering, and both phones are available under the RM98 and RM148 monthly commitment packages. The phone itself can also be purchased through a monthly payment scheme where the A5 2017 is available for free while the A7 2017 is available for RM99, with monthly reoccurring charges of RM57 and RM 63 respectively.
