Digi launches Freedom to Internet for customers with more value and convenient service offering in music, video and gaming

Today, Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd is proud to introduce and officially launch of Freedom to Internet. Freedom to Internet is combination of services by Digi that gives their customers a wide variety of free music, video and gaming with rewards, as well as a worry-free travel experience with Digi Roaming Freedom.

Utilizing on Digi's advanced 4G Plus network, there will be four Freedom proposition for Digi customers which are Music Freedom, Video Freedom, Gaming Freedom and Roaming Freedom. Check out the descriptions below:

  • Music Freedom - All Postpaid and Prepaid customers will be granted 5GB music streaming data quota monthly for popular streaming services like Spotify, Joox and Smule. However, only Digi subscribers who have been with them for at least six months can get it.

  • Video Freedom - Digi customers can purchase 5GB video streaming data quota for RM5 per month and get access to watch premium TV shows and movies on Viu (if you love South Korea TV dramas, this is the app for you). As for iflix and Tonton, they will be launched soon at the end of July or early August.

  • Gaming Freedom - Both Postpaid and Prepaid customers will be able to purchase "money-can't-buy" experience (access to gaming events) and in-game items from Steam and Garena, games include League of Legends, DotA 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offense and FIFA without payment cards. Also, starting on 1 July 2017, customers will also be able to get League of Legends theme collectibles top-up cards.

  • Roaming Freedom - Last but not least, Digi will give free roaming quota for frequent travelers on selected plans and affordable one-time passes for occasional travelers. Selected plans like Digi 110 plan and Digi 150 Infinite plan already have the free roaming quota feature, but for other plans such as Digi 50, Digi 80 and others will still need to pay a minimum of RM5 for internet data.
