Digi had just updated its MyDigi app, giving subscribers improved account control, and better access to Digi’s services, as well as offering exciting rewards for digital-savvy customers. It is all part of Digi’s larger customer journey strategy, to progressively digitize their business from retail to network.

While traditionally, there are many aspects of a mobile plan that requires you to head over to the nearest customer service center to make any changes, with the new MyDigi app, things have gotten a little easier. It allows you to pay bills, manage your account, share your internet quota, enable international roaming, and even, instantly contact for technical assistance via Live Chat (available from 10AM to 9PM daily)! Basically, what this means is that many basic problems can now be solved within the app, without having to call the customer hotline.

For easier bill payment, there are now a total of 16 banks offered as payment options. This new app also incorporates MyDigi Rewards, a gamification system, with where Digi users earn rewards by unlocking badges thru the usage of the app. Other than that, they will also be able to enjoy daily “Super Deals” available on the MyDigi app.

As part of the launch (for a limited time), customers who download or updated their MyDigi app will be rewarded with 1GB of internet quota (7-days validity) for free over the next three months. The MyDigi app is available for Android and iOS devices. For more details regarding the new MyDigi app, you may also refer to Digi's page on it here.

In addition to the updated MyDigi app, Digi is also upgrading its Digi Stores to offer a digital retail experience. Selected Digi Stores will now have an electronic Queue Management System (eQMS), notifying customers via SMS when their turn is almost up. In addition to that, customers can now utilise the new Digi self-serve kiosks available at 32 selected Digi Stores across the country, to upgrade and replace their SIM cards to the new 3-in-1 4G LTE USIMs (necessary to enjoy the full benefit of Digi’s 4G LTE network), using just their Malaysian ICs in addition to biometric authentication.

Digi users can also expect to see improvements such as stronger indoor coverage, wider outdoor coverage and better Internet capacity come July, as Digi will be activating its 900MHz spectrum coverage nationwide. Follow us here on TechNave.com for more future updates on Digi.
