Discord will feature ads on its platform soon

If you frequently use Discord, this news might upset you. Recently, Discord announced the platform will start displaying ads this upcoming week. That said, what should you know about it?

For your information, the company could abandon its long-standing policy in favour of boosting the gaming-related and Nitro subscription revenue. According to Discord, these ads will be called “Sponsored Quest”. This feature will be available in cooperation with video game makers.

In addition, this feature should offer you in-game or in-platform gifts for completing various challenges as you play with your Discord friends and viewers. Once you have completed these quests, you can start on new ones to earn more rewards.
