Disney Plus is a rising video streaming platform with the popular Pixel animation movies and Marvel TV series. However, it looks like the current state still can't satisfy the platform as it's going to lower its subscription fees to attract more users.

According to the source, Disney Plus plans to launch a new tier that is cheaper than its current one, which costs RM54.90 for three months in Malaysia. Of course, there's a catch for it. It's said that the cheaper tier might be an ad-supported version. Therefore, not only growing the user base, but it can also help to gain some revenues through the ads.

The new tier is likely to be available in the US first before coming to the other countries. In the US, the streaming platform faces fierce competition from Paramount, Discovery, Warner Media, and NBC, which already have an ad-supported subscription tier.

Are you willing to pay for cheaper fees but get flooded by the ads (maybe not that many)? Leave a comment to let us know your thoughts, and stay tuned to TechNave.com for the latest tech report.
