Disney+ has announced that it will add support for vertical video formats to its platform this year, further increasing usage and viewership on its streaming service. Besides that, the addition of this feature is also expected to lead to an increase in advertising. So, what should you know about it?

A change to keep up with the current trend

For your information, the addition of this format is also expected to enable them to experiment with various content variations on the platform, as well as allow users to easily enjoy more short content. This shift to a vertical content format is said to be in line with the demand from Gen Z and Gen Alpha, who want short content and do not spend a lot of time watching long-form content.

Previously, it was also shared that Disney will allow users to generate artificial intelligence-powered video content using Disney characters and share it on Disney+. As of now, there are no further details on the news. So, we should wait for more announcements from Disney.
