Doogee has a new S96 Pro smartphone that can take "Night Vision" photos

If you know your smartphones well, you would know that Doogee is usually known for offering huge battery packs. Aside from that, their phones are also rugged in style but here's the kicker - the company recently released an S96 Pro and it has a night vision camera.

So yes, night vision. Does it display a green screen just like in the movies and video games? Not exactly, it's just a marketing name for the camera. According to the page, the rear camera is using a 20MP Sony IMX350 sensor which has 4 infrared lights and 4 LED lights. This allows the phone to snap a photo in total darkness from 20 metres away, you can check out some of the night vision photo samples below.

In terms of other tech specs and features, the S96 Pro features a MediaTek Helio G90 chipset, 8GB + 128GB memory capacity (with expandable storage via microSD), a 6.22-inch LCD with a waterdrop 16MP front camera and a big 6350mAh battery (24W fast charging + 10W wireless charging). Apart from the 20MP night vision camera, you can also find 48MP main camera + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP macro lens. Of course, its rugged body build also offers IP68 and MIL-STD 810G-rated.
