In a move largely seen by most media as copying the Xiaomi Mi MIX, Doogee have revealed their bezel-less Doogee MIX phone with a 5.5-inch bezel-less display and dual rear cameras. Granted, the name and bezel-less design do look similar but the Doogee MIX has a glass front and back instead of ceramic like the Mi MIX. Other tech specs are also quite different such as the MediaTek Helio P25 processor and full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution but it also comes with 4GB/6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. Also unlike the Mi MIX, the Doogee MIX packs in 16MP + 8MP dual rear cameras for a shiny backed smartphone expected to come sometime in June for a very exciting price.

In local news, Doogee Malaysia is offering the Doogee Shoot 2, which offers a 5MP dual rear camera with 5MP front camera for just RM399. According to Doogee the dual rear cameras were "co-engineered with Huawei" and consist of a monochrome sensor and color sensor, but no word if this means it also has a monochrome mode like the Huawei P9 or P10. According to Doogee it has a hardware enabled bokeh mode, but we can't comment on the quality of the Doogee Shoot 2 until we get the review unit. Other tech specs are decidedly entry-level with 8GB storage, 1GB RAM and 3G only connectivity but it does pack in a front fingerprint sensor, 3360 mAh battery and Android 7.0.
