Downgrade or upgrade - Sony Xperia 5 V to feature a new dual-camera setup

If you recall, last year's Sony Xperia 5 IV had a sleek design and flagship-class specs. It's the better option for Sony Xperia fans who think the Xperia 1 series is overkill. But if you're in the "more cameras = better" camp, you'll have to settle for less on the Xperia 5 V.

Earlier today, a Sony Xperia 5 V promo video was spotted on Reddit (via u/JB2Unique). Compared to its predecessor, there are a few notable changes. First, the edges of the back are less rounded. It also has a more matte finish and features dark-grey, white, and blue-grey colours this time.

The core features for the Xperia 5 V are likely the same if not upgraded. But the rear camera is now a dual-camera setup instead of the triple-camera (12MP+12MP+12MP) from before. But Sony could use two higher-end sensors, so we might see improved photo-capture performance.

While the video didn't provide any specs or numbers, the new model should be better in multiple areas. It even has a 3.5mm audio jack, which is nearly extinct in flagship phones. If you have audiophile-grade wired earphones, having an audio jack is better than needing adaptors.
