Today, Dyson released not one, but two new cordless vacuums in Malaysia. The first one is the Dyson PencilVac, the brand’s slimmest and most manoeuvrable cleaner, and the Dyson V16 Piston Animal, its most powerful anti-tangle cordless vacuum to date. Read more about the new Dyson products below.
Dyson PencilVac
The Dyson PencilVac measures just 38mm in diameter and weighs only 1.8kg, making it ideal for precision cleaning in tight spaces while maintaining strong suction power. It features the Fluffycones Cleaner Head, which uses four counter-rotating conical brush bars to eject long hair while cleaning forwards and backwards. A built-in illumination system highlights hidden dust for more effective cleaning.
At its core is the Dyson Hyperdymium 140k Motor, the brand’s smallest and fastest motor ever, spinning at 140000RPM to deliver 55AW of suction power in a body slim enough to clean under furniture as low as 95mm. Complementing this is the two-stage linear dust separation system, which captures 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns while compressing dust to maximise bin capacity.
The PencilVac connects seamlessly with the MyDyson app, providing real-time alerts, filter care reminders, and personalised maintenance tips. It offers a 60-minute runtime, a magnetic charging dock with integrated tool storage, and a range of precision accessories.
Dyson V16 Piston Animal
For those who need maximum suction and versatility, the Dyson V16 Piston Animal is designed to tackle heavy-duty cleaning and pet hair challenges. It introduces the All Floor Cones Sense Cleaner Head, which uses dual conical brush bars to eject hair directly into the bin while automatically adapting suction and brush bar speeds based on the surface.
Driving the device is Dyson’s Hyperdymium 900W Motor, capable of generating 315AW of suction power. Dynamic Cyclone technology activates five additional cyclones in Boost mode for even stronger suction when needed. The CleanCompaktor bin system compresses dust and debris to hold three times more capacity, while a hygienic mechanism wipes the bin clean as it empties.
The V16 Piston Animal also incorporates whole-machine HEPA filtration, capturing 99.99% of particles as small as 0.1 microns for cleaner air in the home. Like the PencilVac, it connects to the MyDyson app for performance optimisation and timely maintenance alerts. It delivers up to 70 minutes of fade-free suction, supports swappable battery packs, and includes LED illumination to reveal hidden dust.
