When it comes to Dyson, it's a brand that doesn't need any introduction as the brand serves as one of the staple households items to have. Today, the Dyson V12 Detect Slim just got announced from a starting price of RM2999 and two more models are coming soon. More on that later.
Developed by a team of 370 engineers globally (lol), the Dyson V12 Detect Slim is using a Dyson Hyperdymium motor that can generate up to 150 air watts of powerful suction. Its 5-stage filtration can also capture 99.99% of dust particles down to 0.3 microns. In other words, it's superbly strong.
Utilising an engineered laser dust technology, it is able to reveal the particles that our human eyes cannot see. The technology uses a green laser diode, chosen by the engineers for its ability to provide the best contrast into the Slim Fluffy model's cleaner head. If you position it precisely at a 1.5-degree angle, 7.3mm off the ground, you can then see the hidden dust on the floor.
On top of that, an acoustic piezo sensor got integrated into the vacuum too. The carbon fibre filaments can pick up microscopic particles which are sized and counted up to 15,000 times a second. This will signal the in-built LCD screen so the user can check how much dust the vacuum has removed. A new anti-tangle conical brush car is included as well to prevent hair from tangling up in the brush bar.
The Dyson V12 Detect Slim is now available at www.dyson.my, Dyson Demo stores at The Gardens Mall and Mid Valley Southkey, and Dyson Service Centre & Store – TTDI. By the way, the Dyson V12 Detect Slim Slim Fluffy is the first variant sold in Malaysia, whereas the Total Clean and Absolute Extra are coming at a later date, priced at RM3299 and RM3899 respectively.
