For avid RPG fans, Horizon Forbidden West is easily one of the most anticipated titles this year. The open-world game is set to release on 18 February 2022. But some assets may have been leaked in advance, allegedly revealing some of the game's content.

According to VGC, the leaked images appeared on Reddit. But the images have since been removed, which probably means Sony and Guerrilla Games requested them to be taken down. In other words, the leaks are most likely accurate. Unfortunately, there are no more traces of these visual assets, so we can't tell you what was revealed.

Anyway, Horizon Forbidden West is the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn. It promises a larger map to explore, new secrets to discover, and new enemies. One of the biggest features added to the sequel is underwater exploration. According to In Forbidden West, Aloy can dive beneath rivers or lakes to explore certain regions. There might even be underwater combat involved.

Since it's published by Sony, don't expect to hear of any more leaks ahead of the launch. But we might get a new official trailer before it's officially released. Having said that, are you planning to buy Horizon Forbidden West? What's the game you're most excited about in 2022? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
