If you are a streamer, you probably realise how much a good streamer invests into equipment. A good microphone and headphones are a must, but many streamers buy accessories like the Elgato Stream Deck for greater convenience. Well, Elgato now has a new device in that category.
The Elgato Stream Deck Pedal gives streamers hands-free control over their PC apps. Instead of a device with buttons for you to push, the Stream Deck Pedal has three pedals for you to press with your feet. Of course, these pedals can be customised to respond to different apps. For example, you could set the left pedal to play a GIF on your stream when you get a Super Chat on YouTube or score a goal in Rocket League.
Besides one-off actions, the Stream Deck Pedal supports chain reactions. It allows you to chain a series of actions together with a press of one of the pedals. You could also use it with apps like Discord to enable push-to-talk or mute. On top of that, you can create multiple pedal layouts that will apply to separate apps.
For streamers, Elgato's new device is a great way to expand your control over your streams and app more functionality. If it were you, how would you use it? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
