Twitter will be making yet another change since the takeover by billionaire Elon Musk, this time in regard to recommended tweets. Taking to, well, Twitter, Musk announced that starting 15 April, only verified accounts would be recommended on the “For You” page on the platform.
Essentially, this means that only companies, government entities or Twitter Blue subscribers would be recommended. This is due to another recent change which saw Twitter dismantling the “legacy” verified system.
Apparently, this move was made to overcome advanced AI bot swarms from taking over. Accordingly, only verified accounts can vote in polls moving forward.
