Elon Musk might compromise and buy Twitter eventually. According to the latest report, the tech mogul isn't planning to take the matter to court by reviving the $44 billion deal, as it could get really messy if involving legal actions.
Bloomberg reports that Musk's legal team could be the one that suggested the revival of the deal as he might lose the trial if going to court. It's just an assumption, but Musk has expressed his reignited interest in buying the social media company. However, this time is different as he might be looking to build a new project through the acquisition.
Buying Twitter is an accelerant to creating X, the everything app
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) October 4, 2022
Through a tweet, the billionaire mentions buying Twitter can help create "X, the everything app". It's unknown what he has up his sleeves, but it seems like there's something huge going on in that mind. The source took a bold guess by stating that Musk could be aiming to create his version of the Chinese messaging app WeChat. It's said that he has been admiring the Tencent Holdings Ltd. app, as it not only focuses on messaging service but also has turned into a "mini-internet" used daily by more than a billion users in its home country. Furthermore, it's also a fintech giant and China's most popular news and entertainment portal.
