Elon Musk has big plans after acquiring Twitter recently. According to the latest report, one of them might be reviving Vine, a short-video-centric app that we had before TikTok.

Although TikTok is one of the most popular apps these years, some of us might know that the OG is Vine. However, the Twitter-owned app didn't reach the fame that TikTok has and shut down in 2016. Based on a report from Axios, Musk has told a group of engineers to work on a reboot of Vine, and it may be ready by the end of the year. Although it doesn't sound possible, still, no one knows what the new Twitter CEO has up his sleeves.

Furthermore, Musk also tweeted a poll to ask his followers to vote for the idea, and 69.6% of 5 million votes said yes. Therefore, could the company bring the app back alive? If it is, the source feels that it should take longer time rather than arriving by the end of the year, but we'll see.
