Elon Musk makes an unexplained Twitter logo change to the Dogecoin symbol

If you’re a Twitter user, then you’ve definitely noticed something different about the platform recently. In the latest of many changes since Elon Musk’s takeover, the iconic Twitter bluebird logo has now been changed to the Shiba Inu meme, the same being used as the cryptocurrency Dogecoin’s symbol.

However, unlike the other changes made on Twitter, this particular one is left unexplained by Musk or anyone on Twitter. As reported by Quartz, Twitter’s communications department sent an auto-response email with a smiling poop emoji when reached out for comment on the change.

The only thing closest to an explanation for the logo change was Musk’s tweet where he joked about the Shiba Inu image showing a driver’s license with the bluebird logo to the police and saying “That’s an old photo”. Following the logo change, Dogecoin’s prices actually went up, as reported by CNN.

However, it is to be noted that Dogecoin investors are suing Musk for allegedly running a pyramid scheme to support the cryptocurrency. The Twitter and Tesla CEO however denied such accusations.
