If you recall, reports confirmed that Elon Musk successfully acquired Twitter earlier this week. The Tesla founder now has full control of the platform and company, allowing him to dictate policy and direction. Unfortunately, some of those changes might be inconvenient for us.

According to Reuters, Musk proposed various ideas and plans about how he would fund his debt from the purchase of Twitter. One of the ideas that were pitched is to charge for the embedding of tweets from verified individuals or organisations on 3rd-party websites. As you know, this is something that's commonly used. We use this feature regularly to quote reliable sources of information, so we expect news sites to be affected.

Besides that, Musk previously proposed (in a deleted tweet) the reduction of Twitter Blue's subscription price and reliance on advertising. It's also reported that has lined up a new CEO to replace the Parag Agrawal, who will remain in his post until the sale of Twitter to Elon Musk is complete. As you would imagine, this change of personnel could also have a significant impact on how the platform is managed.

Overall, it seems we can expect plenty of changes to Twitter in the future. Whether the changes would benefit us normal users or not remains to be seen. But what do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates on this.
