Energizer is coming up with another massive battery smartphone that can fit into your pocket this time

Two years ago, Energizer surprised us with a smartphone packing an 18,000mAh battery called the Energizer Power Max P18K Pop. It was infamously known for looking like a blue brick because of the humongous battery pack and Energizer has learnt its mistake. This time, the company is promising a new slimmer phone with 7000mAh and 5000mAh battery packs

Called the Energizer Ultimate U680S, a spokesperson from Avenir Telecom, Loic Schiano said that the new phone is no longer a brick and can be put into a pocket for sure. For those who don't know, Avenir Telecom is a phone manufacturer helping Energizer on the project but Energizer isn't ready to show some photos of the phone yet to the public. The cover image above is the only one that is available online.

That goes the same for the tech specs as well. Apart from having 7000mAh and 5000mAh battery packs, there isn't much to know except the price tag. Currently, it is $139.99 (~RM581) which is quite affordable but that also hints the tech specs aren't that powerful. Sources say that it's running on a Unisoc processor and measures under 10mm in thickness.

We probably have to wait a little while longer before we get to see the full body shot of the Energizer Ultimate U680S. But what do you think? Is it practical? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
