If you find that most tablets are more than you can afford, you're probably not alone. Fortunately, Apple does have the entry-level iPad that was launched in October and it has pretty good performance. But it may not be long before a new model becomes available in 2021.

According to @cozyplanes (via Pocketnow), a 10.5-inch (Retina display) entry-level iPad will be coming early next year. In fact, Apple might showcase it at CES 2021. This new model is expected to come with the A13 Bionic chipset, 4GB of RAM, and a Home button that supports Touch ID. In addition to that, the chassis will allegedly be thinner and lighter.

If you compare these specs with the current 10.2-inch iPad, you'll notice an overall improvement to the hardware. Not only is the chipset better, but it also has more RAM and a larger screen. It could even have a larger battery and camera specs. But best of all, its rumoured retail price of USD 299 (~RM1215), compared to RM1449 makes it slightly cheaper too.

As usual, this is a piece of unverified rumour, so do take it with a grain of salt. With that said, are any of you planning to get an entry-level tablet like this? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more trending tech news.
