Entry-level Huawei Y5 Prime (2018) now available for RM490 or RM1 from Digi

Today, Huawei Malaysia has just announced another device that is aimed at the budget conscious users. Introducing the Y5 Prime 2018, it comes in Black and Blue at a recommended retail price of RM490 only at any Huawei store or authorised resellers across the nation.

As an entry-level device, the Y5 Prime 2018 features a 5.45-inch FullView display in HD+ with a compact design. It also runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and a respectable 3020mAh battery. For the rest of the tech-specs, the primary camera is just 13MP while the front selfie snapper uses 5MP, powered by a MediaTek MT6739 quad-core chipset with 2GB + 16GB memory capacity.

There are other features on the device too, such as Face Access (available after HOTA upgrading), Receiver Mode (which can identify surrounding noise during a call), even Karaoke Mode that allows you to hear your own voice from a headset or earphone when singing with a karaoke app. Below is the official list of the tech-specs:
